Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix shortening, eggs and sugar.
    Sift dry ingredients and stir in.
    Chill.
    Roll in balls the size of walnuts.
    Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes 3 dozen cookies.
