1/3 c. powdered milk
1 room temperature whole egg
2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening

Preparation

Pour water into a large bowl and sprinkle yeast over water. Add sugar and powdered milk.

After dough has doubled in bulk, punch down and dip shaped rolls in melted butter.
Let rolls rise again until doubled in bulk in a draft-free area (oven with the light on).
Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
Brush tops of rolls with melted butter.
