Bourbon Franks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. bourbon
    1 c. catsup
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    1 lb. franks
Preparation
    Combine bourbon, catsup, sugar, onion, Worcestershire and hot sauce in saucepan.
    Simmer uncovered for 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Cut franks into 5 to 6 sections.
    Add franks to sauce and simmer for an additional 1/2 hour.
    Serve hot as appetizer with toothpicks.
