Baked Barley And Mushroom Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pearl barley
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 c. coarsely chopped mushrooms
    3 c. chicken, beef or vegetable broth
    1 tsp. salt, or to taste
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Saute barley, in 2 tablespoons butter in skillet, over medium heat, for about 2 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Transfer to an ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
