Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. granulated sugar
    2/3 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. peanut butter
    few grains of salt
Preparation
    Put sugar and milk in a heavy saucepan; bring to a slow boil and let mixture boil until the soft ball stage of 234\u00b0 is reached. Remove from stove; add remaining ingredients and beat until creamy.
    Pour into a buttered loaf pan.
    Allow this to cool slightly before cutting in squares.
    This saves nicely if refrigerated in a covered container.
