Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts
Preparation

Combine sugar, milk, salt, chocolate and corn syrup in saucepan.
Cook and store over low heat until sugar dissolves. Cook slowly to soft ball stage (238\u00b0).
Stir frequently.
Remove from heat.
Add butter; cool mixture to 110\u00b0 or lukewarm.
Beat in vanilla and nuts for 3 minutes or until mixture is not glossy. Pour into buttered 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Cool; cut in squares.
