Mama'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large container fruit cake mix (candied fruit)
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 large bottle cherries, chopped (save a few whole to decorate top of cake)
    1 large can sliced pineapple
    1 bag coconut
    1 box raisins
    1 box mince meat (optional)
    3 eggs
    1/3 c. oil
    1 box Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 qt. chopped pecans
    1 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Mix cake according to directions on box in a large bowl. Drain juice from sliced pineapple and cherries into cake mix. Add crushed pineapple. Mix well. In a separate bowl put self-rising flour. Take mixed fruit, chopped pecans, raisins, chopped cherries and mince meat and add to self-rising flour. Coat with flour, then gently fold into cake mix. Put into pans sprayed with Pam. Bake for approximately 1 hour
    in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven. After 1 hour turn oven down to 200\u00b0 and cook for several hours or until you can stick an ice pick in and it comes out clean.
