Ingredients

1 small (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. whipping cream
1 (9-inch) baked pastry shell
1 (1 lb. 50 oz.) can prepared cherry pie filling
1/8 tsp. almond extract flavoring
Preparation

Cream the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla together. Whip the cream and fold in carefully.
Pour into pastry shell and spread evenly; cover with prepared cherry pie filling.
Chill thoroughly before serving.
Use almond extract in the cherry pie filling to impart flavor.
