Chocolate Covered Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus devil's food cake mix
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1 tsp. almond extract (optional)
Preparation
    Mix and bake in 9 x 13-inch pan that has been greased and floured in 350\u00b0 oven 25 to 30 minutes.
    Do not follow cake mix directions.
