Easy Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed strawberries (1 qt. fully ripe strawberries)
    4 c. sugar
    1 box Sure-Gel fruit pectin
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Stir strawberries and sugar thoroughly in large bowl.
    Let stand 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Mix fruit pectin and water in small saucepan.
    Bring to boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
    Continue boiling and stirring one minute.
    Stir pectin mixture into fruit mixture.
    Continue stirring three minutes.
    (A few sugar crystals may remain.)
    Fill plastic containers to within 1/2 inch of tops; cover.
    Let stand at room temperature 24 hours.
    Jam is now ready to use.
    Store in refrigerator or freeze extra containers.
    Thaw in refrigerator. Makes about 5 (1 cup) containers.
