Grandma'S Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. cut up fruit (peaches, apples, etc.)
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    pinch salt
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan and add fruit. Mix 3/4 cup sugar, butter, milk, salt, flour and baking powder like a cake batter. Spread over top of fruit. Mix 1 cup sugar, salt, cornstarch and cinnamon together; sprinkle on batter. Pour 1 cup boiling water over sugar mixture. Bake 1 hour at 375\u00b0. Place baking sheet under pan as this may boil over in oven.
