Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. oleo or butter
    1/2 lb. New York sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Cream oleo until light and fluffy. Continue creaming while adding finely grated cheese.
    Sift together flour, salt and chili powder.
    Turn mixer to low speed and gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
    Put through cookie press, using star tip, on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Cut into desired length and remove from pan immediately. When cool, store in airtight container.
