Old-Time Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 or 10 eggs, separated
    3 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Beat well egg yolks, butter and sugar.
    Beat egg whites until foamy, but not dry.
    Fold in with eggs, butter and sugar mixture. Add flour a cup at a time; add vanilla and salt.
    Spray baking pan with Pam.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
