Fresh Strawberry Pie(Makes 2 Pies) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. strawberry jello
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. water
1/2 c. cornstarch, mixed with 1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
drops of red food coloring
2 to 3 pt. fresh whole strawberries
2 containers Cool Whip
2 (9-inch) baked pie shells
Preparation

Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil in pan.
Turn off heat and add cornstarch.
Cook on medium until it appears to be partly clear and add lemon juice and food coloring.
Cool, then spoon part of mixture in shells of the pie crusts.
Place strawberries in shells and pour rest of mixture over the strawberries.
(Wash strawberries before and make sure they are dry.)
When cool, top with Cool Whip or other topping.
