Blotkake With Marzipan Cover - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large eggs, separated
1/4 c. water
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat egg yolks, sugar, water and extract until thick.
Sift flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt and fold into egg mixture.
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until very stiff; fold into mixture.
Bake in ungreased 9-inch spring-form pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
