Cherry Delight Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small pkg. Jell-O
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. boiling water
    2 tsp. almond flavoring
    2 cans cherry pie filling or 1 can plus 3/4 c. water
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water.
    Cool.
    Add flavoring and pie filling.
    Put in 10 x 13-inch pan.
    Chill until set.
    Partially drain pineapple.
    Mix with cream cheese.
    Spread over gelatin mixture.
    Makes 16 servings.
