Wilted Lettuce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large bunch leaf lettuce, torn in pieces (12 c.)
4 to 6 slices bacon, cut up
4 green onions, cut up (tops and all)
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Place lettuce in a 3-quart bowl.
Fry bacon in 8-inch skillet over medium heat until crisp.
Remove bacon with slotted spoon; sprinkle over lettuce and onion greens.
