Honey-Spice Glazed Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. honey
    1/2 c. red wine vinegar
    1/4 c. Chinese hoisin sauce
    1/4 c. peanut or vegetable oil
    2 tsp. aniseed
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 lb. pork spareribs
Preparation
    In a small bowl, combine honey, vinegar, hoisin sauce, oil, aniseed and cinnamon; mix well.
    Trim excess fat from ribs and place in a shallow 8 x 12-inch pan.
    Pour marinade over and turn ribs to coat.
    Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight, turning once.
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Remove ribs from marinade (reserve marinade) and place on rack in broiling pan.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
