Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. water, boiled and cooled
    1/2 c. salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 pt. white vinegar
Preparation
    Pack quart jars with washed small cucumbers.
    Allow 2 medium sized heads of dill for each quart.
    Cover with brine.
