Mrs. Woodard'S Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    6 eggs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Cream shortening and sugar together. Add eggs.
    Sift flour, soda and salt.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with 1 cup buttermilk.
    Add lemon flavoring.
    Pour into greased tube or Bundt pan and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
