Bonnell'S Irish Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes, drained
    1/2 c. olive oil
    16 large leaves fresh basil, cut in 1-inch strips
    1 c. onion, minced
    1 lb. angel hair pasta
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    grated Romano cheese
Preparation
    Slice basil into 1/8-inch wide strips.
    Chop tomatoes in 1/2-inch pieces.
    Saute onion in oil in heavy skillet until soft. Add tomatoes and sugar to skillet.
    Cover and cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
