Lentil Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 large carrots, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 large can tomatoes
    1 lb. pkg. lentils
    salt to taste
    oil
    1 stick chopped celery
Preparation
    Braise onions, carrots, celery and garlic in the oil. Wash and pick out lentils.
    Put lentils, onions, carrots, celery and garlic in large saucepan and simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes.
    Add the tomatoes that have been chopped or broken up.
    Add salt to taste and simmer another 30 minutes.
