Rhubarb Soup(Rabarbrasuppe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. rhubarb
    1 c. water, divided
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Wash rhubarb and cut into 1/2-inch lengths.
    Place in a saucepan with 1/2 cup water, sugar and cinnamon.
    Cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
    Mix cornstarch with other 1/2 cup water.
    Remove boiling rhubarb from stove; add cornstarch and stir.
    Return to stove for another boil, then remove and cool. Serve cold after main dish.
