Oatmeal Carmelitas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. quick cooking oats
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. butter, melted
    1 c. (6 oz. bag) chocolate chips
    1/2 c. nuts
    3/4 c. caramel topping
    3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and butter.
    Blend well to form crumbs.
    Press 1/2 of mixture into greased 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top.
    Blend caramel sauce with 3 tablespoons flour.
    Pour mixture over chips and nuts.
    Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0. Chill for 1 to 2 hours.
    Cut into bars.
