Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. frozen broccoli
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    1 stick butter or oleo
    1 can cream of mushroom (low-sodium) soup
    1 small can sliced mushrooms
    1 c. cheese spread
    1 c. slivered almonds
    1 c. toasted bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook broccoli as directed; drain.
    Saute onion in butter in large saucepan.
    Add soup, mushrooms, cheese and almonds.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.
    Mix with drained broccoli.
