Winter Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    16 oz. can tomatoes
    8 oz. can tomato sauce
    1 can consomme
    1/2 head cabbage, chopped
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    15 1/2 oz. can red kidney beans
    1/2 soup can water
Preparation
    Saute ground beef until brown.
    Add onion, green pepper and garlic.
    Cook 15 to 20 minutes.
    Add all other ingredients except cabbage; simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
    Add cabbage and cook 30 minutes longer.
    Soup will thicken when lid is removed.
    This soup freezes well.
