Scripture Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Judges 5:25 (butter)
1/2 c. Judges 4:19 (milk)
6 Jeremiah 17:11 (eggs)
2 c. Jeremiah 6:20 (sugar)
2 tsp. 1 Samuel 14:25 (honey)
2 tsp. Amos 4:5 (baking powder)
3 1/2 c. 1 Kings 4:22 (flour)
1 c. 1 Samuel 30:12 (raisins)
1 c. Nahum 3:12 (figs)
2 Chronicles 9:9 (spices to taste)
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and honey.
Beat eggs; add milk to eggs. Sift flour with baking powder.
Add alternately with eggs and milk to first mixture.
Add chopped figs and raisins, then add spices. (I use 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon cloves and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg.)
Bake at 350\u00b0 in Bundt pan or oblong pan.
Use your favorite icing.
