Halupki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    2 eggs
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 1/2 c. rice
    1 small cabbage
    1 can sauerkraut
Preparation
    Core cabbage and put in warm water.
    Let it boil; cover and leave for about 10 minutes.
    Break leaves off.
    Mix ground beef, salt, pepper, eggs, onion, 1/4 tomato sauce and rice together in a bowl.
    Take cabbage leaf and put 1 to 2 tablespoons of ground beef mixture in it.
    Roll cabbage.
    Place cabbage rolls in a roaster pan with edge of folded side down.
    Place sauerkraut over top.
    Pour 1/2 can of tomato sauce on top.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for at least 2 hours.
