Corn Bread Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. minced onion
1 c. water
3 c. crumbled corn bread
7 c. crumbled bread crumbs
1/4 c. melted margarine
1 1/2 c. liquid from giblets
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. rubbed sage
1/4 tsp. paprika
Preparation

Cook celery and onion in water until tender.
Meanwhile, combine remaining dry ingredients (store separately, if dressing is to be baked later).
Just before baking, add celery and onion, plus the liquid to the dry mix.
This should be moist, but compact.
If dry, add a little more liquid.
Combine well.
Bake in a 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish, in a hot oven, 400\u00b0, for 30 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
I use this to stuff turkey.
