Party Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    dash of pepper
    6 slices onion
    6 green pepper slices
    1 can tomato soup
Preparation
    Brown chops in shortening in a heavy skillet.
    Sprinkle with pepper.
    Place an onion slice and pepper ring on each chop.
    Pour soup over all.
    Cover and simmer about 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
