Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. white syrup
6 oz. raw peanuts
2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup and peanuts in pan.
Bring to a boil and cook to hard crack stage (290\u00b0), stirring constantly.
Remove from heat to stir in baking soda.
Pour into greased cooking sheet and pull and stretch thin.
Yields one pound.
