Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 sweet potatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    1/2 c. water
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in their\tjackets
    in boiling water until nearly tender;
    drain.
    Cut
    in
    1/2-inch\tslices.
    Place in a shallow baking dish.
    Cook together sugar, water and margarine in another pan for a few
    minutes.
    Then
    stir
    in lemon juice and pour over potatoes.
    Bake at\t375\u00b0
    for
    20 to 25 minutes, basting with syrup.
