Black Walnut And Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    5 Tbsp. baking cocoa
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. black walnut extract
    1 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
    1/2 c. chopped black walnuts
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt together 3 times.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.
    Stir in black walnut extract and chocolate. Fold in walnuts.
    Pour into well-greased tube pan.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 hour and 55 minutes.
    Do not open oven door during baking time.
    Cool in pan for several minutes.
    Invert onto serving plate.
    Yield:
    16 servings.
