Pasta Pesto With Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cloves garlic
    1/2 onion, diced
    1/2 bunch broccoli flowerets
    1 c. spinach
    1 lb. thin spaghetti
    olive oil
    1 can whole tomatoes
    3 carrots, sliced
    3 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
    1/4 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Cook pasta according to package directions.
    Saute broccoli and carrots in olive oil 2 minutes; add onions and garlic.
    Saute for 1 minute.
    Add remaining ingredients; saute is al dente.
    Toss with cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese.
