Lemon Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 stick margarine
1 1/2 Tbsp. corn meal
juice of 2 lemons
1 1/2 tsp. lemon rind
Preparation

Separate eggs and beat yolks slightly.
Cream margarine and sugar together until crumbly.
Add beaten egg yolks.
Add lemon juice, rind and corn meal.
Beat egg whites until firm but not stiff.
Fold whites into other ingredients.
Pour into deep dish unbaked pie crust and bake at 350\u00b0 until firm but not stiff.
