Applesauce Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. applesauce
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar well.
Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with applesauce, mixing well.
Add nuts and raisins, which have been rolled in flour.
Bake in moderate oven for 70 minutes in loaf or tube cake pan.
