Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw Spanish peanuts
    dash of salt
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Karo corn syrup
Preparation
    Stir sugar, salt and corn syrup together in a 1 3/4-quart dish.
    Cook on High for 4 minutes.
    Stir well and add peanuts. Cook on High for 3 to 4 minutes longer.
    Add vanilla, butter and soda.
    Stir and cook on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes longer.
    Stir and pour on greased cookie sheet.
    Cool 1/2 hour; break in pieces.
