Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation

Cream together the shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix flours and salt. Add this to the sugar mixture alternately with milk.
Add flavoring and lemon juice; mix well. Pour into tube pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
