Louisiana Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
    1 c. dark Karo
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. pecans
    3 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter and cool.
    Beat eggs with sugar and salt.
    Beat well and add Karo.
    Add vanilla to butter mixture and stir pecans in last.
    Put in a pastry shell and cook for 40 to 50 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
