Chex School Fuel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. packed brown
    6 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/4 baking soda
    4 c. Corn Chex cereal
    4 c. Rice Chex cereal
Preparation
    Microwave brown sugar, margarine and corn syrup in large microwavable bowl uncovered on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until margarine is melted.
    Stir in baking soda until dissolved.
    Stir in cereals. Microwave on High 3 minutes stirring every minute. Spread on wax paper. Cool 10 minutes; break into bite-size pieces. Store in airtight container.
