Fruit Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 medium size can fruit cocktail
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift together the first 4 ingredients 4 times.
    Beat the egg. Add dry ingredients.
    Add fruit cocktail.
    Place mixture in a baking pan.
    Mix brown sugar and chopped nuts; spread over batter. Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0 in a 6 x 10 x 2-inch pan.
    Serve with whipped cream.
