Corn Bread Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. water ground corn meal (fine)
    water
    1/2 tsp. salt or more to taste
    1/4 c. flour (optional)
Preparation
    The corn meal must be slow ground corn meal, like that found on the East Coast of the Carolinas.
    No others will work in this recipe.
