Aunt Elsie'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 (1 lb.) box light brown sugar
    3 eggs
    3 sq. melted unsweetened chocolate
    2 1/4 c. Gold Medal flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour two 9-inch pans. Cream shortening and brown sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Add chocolate.
    Add sifted flour, soda and salt alternately with sour cream.
    Blend on low speed and add hot water.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
