Ingredients

1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. frozen apple juice concentrate
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 to 1 tsp. lemon extract
12 oz. frozen cherries, cranberries or strawberries
2 to 4 baking apples, peeled and sliced
1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Combine liquid in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Add fruit and apples.
Bring to a boil; simmer about 10 to 15 minutes.
Make a paste of cornstarch and water and stir into the sauce.
Stir constantly until thickened.
