Sugar Cream Pie - cooking recipe

1 lightly baked (9-inch) pie shell
1 c. white sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
2 c. milk
1 stick oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat 1 1/2 cups milk in saucepan with sugar.
Dissolve cornstarch with 1/2 cup milk and add to the milk at boiling point. Cook until thick; remove from stove.
Add oleo and vanilla.
Stir until smooth.
Pour into the lightly baked pie shell and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 375\u00b0 or until it starts bubbling.
