Apple Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. corn or Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
3 well beaten eggs
1 c. pecans, chopped
3 c. cake or enriched flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix the first 4 ingredients.
Add flour, mixing well, then add the vanilla.
(If using self-rising flour, omit salt and baking soda.)
Put in cold oven (do not preheat oven).
Bake at 325\u00b0.
