Chicken Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium noodles
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 c. milk
    2 c. cooked chicken, diced
    1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    3/4 c. freshly grated cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package and drain.
    Make a white sauce of butter, flour, broth and milk. Stir in chicken and mushrooms. Mix with noodles, 1/2 cup cheese, salt and pepper. Turn into round 2-quart glass casserole. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese. Bake at 400\u00b0 until bubbly hot (about 20 minutes). Serves 6.
