Light Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can ready to serve, low sodium, fat-free chicken broth
    1/3 c. instant nonfat dry powdered milk
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. dried onion flakes
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dried basil
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
    1 1/2 c. skim milk
    1/3 c. (1.3 oz.) shredded reduced fat Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. butter flavor granules
    garnish with shredded low-fat cheese
Preparation
    Combine first 8 ingredients in large saucepan.
    Bring to a boil stirring constantly.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add broccoli and next 3 ingredients.
    Cook until cheese melts and mixture is thoroughly heated.
    Garnish each serve with 1/2 teaspoon shredded cheese.
    Makes 4 servings; 166 calories per cup; 3.1 grams of fat.
