Old English Prime Rib - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    prime rib or standing rib (1/2 lb. per serving)
    1 tsp. m.s.g. powder
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. paprika
    salt and pepper to taste
    ice cream salt (rock salt)
Preparation
    Select choice prime rib or standing rib.
    Season meat with Worcestershire sauce, paprika, m.s.g. and salt and pepper.
    Rub this seasoning into meat.
    Put rock salt on bottom of roaster pan. Dampen rock salt with water.
    Place meat in standing rib position.
    Cover meat completely with damp salt.
    Place pan, uncovered, in 500\u00b0 preheated oven 12 minutes per pound for rare; 20 minutes per pound for well done.
    Remove from oven.
    Break salt crust with mallet.
    Brush any residue from meat and eat.
    This does not leave any salt flavor.
