Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, boiled and deboned
    3 c. flour (2 plain and 1 self-rising)
    1 c. ice cold milk or water
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. Crisco
    onion salt
    garlic powder
Preparation
    Add seasoning to chicken while cooking. Remove chicken and save broth. Bring broth to a boil; should be about 2 cups broth. Mix flour, both kinds, together and cut in Crisco. Mix until crumbly. Combine eggs, water and salt. Mix with flour mixture until stiff dough forms. Roll out real thin and then cut into strips, 3 to 4-inches long. Drop strips into boiling broth; add chicken. Cook for 15 to 18 minutes. Don't put
    a lid on them while cooking because if you do, they will be tough.
